Inductive heating technology
Induction billet heating offers the most precise control possible for billet temperature, including extremely accurate taper heat profiles.
For most extruders the result is a significant increase in production rates. Induction taper heating may be realized with stand-alone units, or integrated with existing gas-fired billet furnaces to add taper-heating capability.
